This is the call to

Carry the Torch forward.

We believe God is calling a delegation of young adults from all 50 States to gather in DC for a year of standing in the Gap.

As a Young Spiritual Eldership, this team will rule and reign in prayer, carrying the torch of David’s Tent forward.

Similar to the 24 elders who are in the inner circle with Jesus, we believe God has consecrated ones reserved for this. They are seeking Him with an honest heart. Are you a modern-day Timothy, Mary, or Barnabas? 

We are calling musicians, singers, and artisans of all types. But even if you’re not a musician or singer, the only qualification is your deep love of Jesus.

What is YAIT?

Young Adult Intercession Team. Join the David’s Tent team for discipleship, prayer, worship, evangelism, and more in a globally influential city. IMAGINE 6-12 uninterrupted months pursuing Jesus, our ETERNAL bridegroom!!

6-12 Months?

Yes. We’re running two 6-month options, but we believe God is calling some to stay for the whole game! Those who complete Track 1 may have the opportunity to join a leadership track for Track 2.  

For those familiar with YWAM, both YAIT tracks will qualify as a Discipleship Training School (DTS), accredited by the University of the Nations.

LECTURE Phase

  • Classes are Monday-Thursday
  • Weekly debrief on Fridays

(Topics include: the Father’s Heart of God, Holy Spirit, and Global Missions.)

OUTREACH Phase

  • Local and cross-cultural opportunities (details to be determined).

There may be foreign outreach options as we intercede for America to be a missions-sending nation. Travel will incur an additional cost.

Important Dates & Costs

  • First Half Pioneers: Jan 7 – June 26 

  • Second Half Finishers: July 3 – Dec 18

Cost: $3,500 per Track OR $6000 for both (not including outreach fees)

Lecture cost covers class, materials, housing, and main meals.

Estimated Outreach Cost (covers airfare, housing, food): $3000-$5000

Living Arrangements: Students will live communally, sharing meals and responsibilities. Each student will have a roommate and a mentor.

Work Duties: Expect to cook, clean, and have house duties.

Graduation: Completing this program fulfills the requirements for a YWAM Discipleship Training School. Graduates can join YWAM DC/ David’s Tent DC, any YWAM base worldwide, or pursue further education at the University of the Nations.
