This video of the Moravians is a “must watch.” We must know our history! I was trained as a young man in missions under the tutelage of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). From a missions perspective I was gripped at the Moravian Model of 24/7 prayer leading to the birthing of the modern day missions movement. The story of the Moravians caused me to dream of a fresh wave of prayer and missions in my generation!
There can be no Christianity without Community.

Excellent and timely reminder!
Such Community of Passionate Believers Must Replicate Over & Over & Over the World Today in Christ Jesus Our LORD’s Awesome & Holy Name!!!
Although I have been shocked to meet a few, there are not many Christians who are against “prayer and evangelism.”
Something important that is left out about the Moravians in the video: although they traced themselves back to John Hus, they were basically Lutherans who practiced infant baptism, liturgical worship, and who placed high value in Holy Communion and the Word of our Lord, “Take and eat, this is my body, given for you. Take and drink, this is my blood, shed for you.”
Luther was called a “Hussite,” derogatorily. He also lived in community, even had people staying at his house on his honeymoon when he married Katherine von Bora, a run-away nun. He strongly believed the laity should be given the cup as well as the host, just as Hus, and in many ways was anticlerical. It is good for us to know the whole story.
